v0.4.3 Update - 19 new cards, new tutorial, and more!
Hey everyone! Today we're releasing our biggest patch since the start of beta. The goal is to do these weekly but we'll see what the future holds. A lot of these changes were only possible thanks to suggestions and bug reports from our excellent beta testers :)
This is actually a bigger update than most will be, since we're introducing 19 new cards — a sizeable increase in our first set.

Content
- 19 new cards!
Tutorial
- Now using simpler, placeholder versions of Karl and Zanostiphenes in the tutorial.
- Tutorial is now 5 battles. Spread out lessons, removed a couple bad ones, made the final fight easier.
- Tutorial now always awards Praesidix, and gives choice of Ira or ??? (Morren).
UI
- Dialogue box text can now be advanced by clicking anywhere on the screen
- Deckbuilder now displays more unusable cards, not just ones you can't afford, if you check the 'show unusable cards' option.
- Deckbuilder now has "Deck Rules" link which runs through a brief tutorial on deckbuilding rules. They're automatically enforced by the game, but if you want a better idea of how the deckbuilder works, this is for you.
- You can now dismiss card lore by clicking anywhere on the screen.
- Improve display of Sandcastles in Idle Stats
- Improve scrolling in the deckbuilder
- New ATK & HP icons
Bugs
- Fixed bug with deleting parties. Don't worry about it. We hope.
- Fixed bug with flagging
- Fixed bug with hiding online players in the tutorial
- The AI will now use Cure correctly
- Shapeshift now does what it says (user is an animal)
- Singing (Regen) & Song of Regen now properly are 1-cost
- Fixed bug where killing a called character with a targeted Enchant effect could crash the server
- Fixed bug with Enchant and Purge/Dispel/Alchemy on targets with only one relevant attachment
Optimization
- Reduced file size of background images
Music
- New edit of the battle theme, loop position fixed
Known Issues
- IDLE GAME: buildCostReduction from Quarries only applies after your first purchase in a given session.
- DIALOGUE: on slower machines/connections, character name & portrait are sometimes briefly mismatched.
- CARD: Serena's "Singing" effects interact weirdly with Alchemy.
- Some older computers may experience hangs and fake disconnects when using the standalone app. Not yet sure what's causing this. Please report your experience in the Discord.
